A group of KS1 children had a shock while doing a job in the garden today – they discovered an enormous egg! Nobody knows what laid the egg, which was resting on a bed of hay. Bournebrook children have been busily trying to identify the egg from its colour and markings. Some children felt the egg could be near to hatching as cracking sounds were coming from it!
Mrs Clarke has contacted the Natural History Museum who will be sending a professor to examine the egg soon. If, in the meantime, you see an enormous bird, dragon or dinosaur in Fillongley, please contact Elm and Holly class.
