Mrs Manning’s Outdoor Opportunity – MONDAY

Hi,
Hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed your VE day activities.
Today you are going to make up some ‘Kennings’. I know Beech have looked at them and Ash we did some in RE and you came up with some great examples. A Kenning is using a two word phrase instead of a one word noun. For example a ‘baby’ may be a ‘noise maker’ or the ‘sea’ could be a ‘fish carrier’. Make up some Kennings about things your garden or any thing you see if you go for a walk for your daily exercise. Make them silly and funny if you want or sensible if you prefer – its up to you.
Keep well,
Mrs Manning
