Mrs. Manning’s Outdoor Opportunity – Thursday

Bug Hunt
Go into the garden and turn over a stone or log or bit of old wood and see what mini beasts you can find. Did you know there are 1.4 billion insects for every one person in the world! That is a lot of bugs, but they are vital to keep us all alive. They do lots of work for us making plants grow and without plants we would have no food. They clean up waste and generally keep the world running, so no squashing the bugs please, they won’t hurt you. How many types can you find? Draw or photograph what you find and do some research about them. They are more interesting than you might think.
Be Good
