The Pupil Premium is additional funding received by schools to support disadvantaged pupils, such as those who receive free school meals.

Our Aims

We make effective use of pupil premium funding at Bournebrook to ensure:

  • All children eligible for funding make good or better progress
  • Children eligible for pupil premium funding achieve as highly as their peers
  • Barriers to learning for pupil premium children are removed
  • Children eligible for pupil premium funding do not miss out on experiences that may have a positive impact on their development

We use best practice models when making decisions about spending the funds as well as closely monitoring the impact of money spent.

Because of our approach to spending pupil premium funding, eligible children at Bournebrook reach their full potential.
