St Mary and All Saints’ Church

At Bournebrook we are proud of our very strong links with St Mary and All Saints’ Church. Because of the close proximity of the church to school, we are able to hold many school celebrations and acts of worship in the church.  Our children are also able to use the beautiful building and grounds of St Mary and All Saints’ as a historical source of learning.

We welcome Rev Ian Kennedy into school. He joins us each half term to lead worship, as well as joining us often to find out what we are learning about.  Rev Ian can also be found supporting our weekly after school club “Story Keepers”, where children find out more about Jesus Christ through story and craft.

Children at Bournebrook are invited to be Baptised into the Church and Confirmed.  Rev Ian runs classes each year. Please contact school or Rev Ian for details.

Open the Book, a group of church and community members join us each half term to share Bible stories through drama.

Our special times in church include:

Harvest, Easter, Baptising Ted, Christmas, End of Year, Our 20th Anniversary, Welcome Service, Visiting war graves, Learning about life’s journey, Learning about special buildings.
