The School Day

The gates open at 8.40am, the children are welcomed and greeted into their classroom by their class teacher and other adults. This is a really calm part of the day, this time helps children to prepare for the rest of the day’s learning.

Ideally children should arrive by 8.50 to allow them time to make their way into the classroom. At 8.55am the register is taken, the school gates close at 8.55am, to allow adults dropping off to leave the premises.

Breaktime is from 11.00 – 11.15am and Lunch is from 12.15 – 1.15pm.

The school day ends at 3.15pm.  We welcome parents to wait on the playground.  We remind children to return to the class teacher if no-one is there to meet them and they will be taken to the school office.  If you believe you will be unexpectedly late collecting your child, please call the school office.  We also ask that you advise us if someone other than the usual person is collecting your child at the end of the day.
