Headteacher’s Message

Welcome

On behalf of the whole Bournebrook community may I welcome you to our website.

The happiness, well-being and achievement of each child are our main concerns. We strive to create an exciting and stimulating learning environment. An environment that is safe and secure, where children’s welfare is the responsibility of everyone, where the whole child is developed. Bournebrook is a school where children are given opportunities to realise their talents across a broad and balanced curriculum, developing into caring and responsible young people that are ready for the next part of their education journey. Bournebrook C of E School provides an excellent foundation for lifelong learning to ensure children are confident to achieve academic success.  We are very proud of all of our children and recognise the hard work and determination they show in their everyday learning and achievements. Due to the small nature of the school children form close friendships with their peers, as well as other year group members

We strongly believe that the quality of the relationships within school between adults, children, parents/ carers and the wider community underpin everything we aim to achieve at Bournebrook.

Through regular collective worship we celebrate our Christian values, as well as recognising other faiths. Children are encouraged to reflect on the choices we have all made in life and to reflect and value the diverse world in which we live.

Bournebrook Church of England Primary School is a voluntary controlled school situated in the heart of Fillongley. We serve the villages of Fillongley and Corley as well as outlying areas. Our children, from Nursery to Year Six, benefit from learning in a very special, historic building on a wonderful site with playgrounds, gardens, mature trees and a large field.

Our site links with that of St Mary and All Saints’ Church, with whom we nurture strong links. Staff and Governors at Bournebrook are passionate about providing the very best learning opportunities for our children and we are supported by parents who value what we do.

A website can only provide a taster of this remarkable school, if there is any further information you would like, or if you would like to organise a visit please contact the school office.
